Nevada Laws Proposed by the PPC for 2025 Legislative Session

Pursuant to NRS 218D.213, the PPC may request up to 3 bill draft requests (BDRs) which relate to matters within its scope.

In alignment with Governor Lombardo’s Executive Order 2024-002, the PPC developed three BDRs intended to address the health care workforce needs of the state. If approved, the proposed legislation will improve health care provider access, simplify the licensure process for health care professionals, and provide a higher return on state investments for provider workforce initiatives, including Graduate Medical Education (GME).
